A lonely sick prisoner counting his days in an old dark cel, gets surprised by a mysterious box given by a strange passenger...

Long days of animating.. Starting with the last shots, and hoping to start the Lightning and Texturing asap. This is a frame with a quick basic light to see what's going on here and to give an idea of the character.

Tomorrow heading to the Annecy Animationfilm Festival in France and taking a week off!

A render test from the second character in my coming master shortfilm "Rebird". Finished (rough) skinning today and tried out a few poses.

Finished details and textures not yet present.

Still a long way to go, but the 3D dolls are actually starting to 'live'...

Eurasmix magazine

Cartoon for a project of Erasmus students in Brussels. They made a magazine called Eurasmix, will be coming out for free soon. The article tells about Europe being present in Brussels itself too much, in stead of having more of a global role and doing it's own thing.

Had to make this very fast, but like the result.
